Terms of Service - Starbucks × Mooments
1. Introduction
Welcome to the Starbucks Corporate Rewards Dashboard powered by Mooments (“Dashboard”). These Terms govern your access to and use of the Dashboard, a joint service provided by Starbucks Coffee Singapore Pte. Ltd. (“Starbucks”) and Volyty Pte. Ltd. (“Mooments”). By using the Dashboard, you agree to comply with these Terms and Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
2. Definitions
- “Starbucks” refers to Starbucks Coffee Singapore Pte. Ltd., the primary service provider and Data Controller.
- “Mooments” refers to Volyty Pte. Ltd., the technology partner and Data Processor.
- “User” or “Client” refers to Starbucks’ authorised business clients using the Dashboard.
- “eGift Cards” or “Rewards” means digital vouchers or rewards issued through the Dashboard on behalf of Starbucks’ clients.
3. Use of Services
- Users must be authorized by Starbucks or its designated representatives to access the Dashboard.
- You agree to use the Dashboard solely for legitimate business purposes related to corporate reward issuance and reporting, and in compliance with all applicable laws, including the PDPA.
4. eGift Cards
- All eGift Cards and Rewards issued through the Dashboard are subject to the terms of the respective participating merchants. Starbucks manages issuance on behalf of its clients, while Mooments provides the underlying technical infrastructure.
5. Expiry Policy
- Each eGift Card has a validity period defined during issuance.
- Expiry details will be displayed at the point of issuance.
- Expired cards cannot be reissued or refunded, except as required by law.
6. Fees and Payments
- Applicable processing fees and transaction charges, if any, will be defined in agreements between Starbucks and its corporate clients.
- Payments for eGift Cards will be processed securely through authorised payment gateways integrated by Mooments.
7. Account Security
- Users are responsible for safeguarding their login credentials.
- Unauthorised use, data breaches, or credential sharing are prohibited.
- Mooments maintains security controls, and Starbucks oversees account governance and access authorisation.
8. Intellectual Property
- All technology, content, and platform designs related to the Dashboard are owned by Mooments and licensed to Starbucks for co-branded operation.
- Starbucks trademarks and branding remain the exclusive property of Starbucks.
9. Limitation of Liability
- Mooments provides the Dashboard ‘as-is’ and shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damage arising from platform use.
- Starbucks’ total liability for its clients is limited to amounts paid for the related services.
- Nothing in this clause limits liability arising from gross negligence or willful misconduct.
10. Changes to Terms
- These Terms may be updated from time to time.
- Starbucks and Mooments will provide advance notice of material changes through the Dashboard or email communication.
11. Governing Law & Disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
- Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts.
